Alan Payne FCA – Partner
Alan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 and became a Partner in Heywoods in 1980. He has been involved with a wide variety of clients over many years from sole traders to larger companies. =. He believes strongly in a client relationship which develops over time and is always prepared to go the extra mile to assist a client.
Sandra Williams – Partner
Sandra has built up a wealth of experience having been with the Practice for over 40 years working with a very well established client base. She was appointed as a Partner in Heywoods in 2003 and as an Affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She has guided many businesses from start-up to a multi-million pound turnover company supporting them through many transitions in their business.
Susan Davies – Accounts Manager
Susan joined the team in April 2017 having previously been an Accounts Manager at another firm where she worked for 20 years and where she became ACCA qualified. Her main duties include drafting client accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Dan Beaman – Accounts Assistant
Dan is one of our accounts assistants and has been AAT qualified since 2018. Dan’s role at Heywoods involves drafting accounts, VAT returns and other tax related matters.
Jack Bates – Accounts Assistant
Jack is another accounts assistant, and is currently studying AAT level 4 at Telford College. Jack’s role at Heywoods involves drafting accounts, VAT returns and office administration.
Kathryn Fenton – Accounts Assistant
Kathryn joined our accounts team in 2012. Kathryn’s role at Heywoods involves drafting client accounts, VAT returns, payroll and bookkeeping and training. She passed her AAT qualification in 2021 and is currently studying the ACA/CTA joint qualification.
